Here are all the questions that are frequently sent to us and this FAQ page should be sufficient to answer any questions you have. Otherwise, don’t hesitate to contact me here or on the Chat below, I’ll be happy to answer them.  

What is coaching?

Defined by the international coaching community, a coach is :

 - To helping a person change in the way they wish and helping them go in the direction they want to go.

 - Coaching supports a person at every level in becoming who they want to be.

 - Coaching builds awareness, empowers choice, and leads to change.

 

 

What is NLP?

NLP, short for Neuro(brain) Linguistic(Language) Programming, is a form of psychotherapy. It primarily works with our unconscious emotional, thought, and behavioral patterns - understanding individualistic patterns that cause us to be either effective or ineffective in whatever we are involved in. When we know better, we can do better.

 

What is NLP used for?

Example NLP topics:

 - Emotional eating, bad eating habits

 - Low self-esteem or confidence

 - Fear of rejection or disappointing others

 - Burnout

 - Opinions of others affects you too much

 - Feeling of not good enough, worthlessness

 - People pleaser

 - Hate yourself or your body

 - Self-criticism

 - Need for control

 

What does an NLP Coach do?

While you can spot the negative emotions/behaviors/thought patterns you have, not knowing how to clear them means:

- you have to stay w them weighing you down as you go about your daily life

- have limited options as these negative emotions act as barriers, preventing you from seeing possibilities

- feel stuck in more situations than necessary

- limit your possibilities because you can't see them

 

Using NLP techniques and processes, I will 

 - explore and identify your goals together with you

 - find out what is holding you back from accomplishing it

 - spend time with you to release any unresourceful behaviors, thinking patterns, and emotions

 

 - boost what is already working well 

 - create new beneficial patterns that are in line with your goals

How is NLP different from other types of therapies and counseling?

 

Traditional therapy and counseling talk about the past. Traditional coaching talks about the future. 

 

NLP is a combination of all to help you identify what you want, what is holding you back, and offers techniques and processes to help get you there in a shorter time span.

 

How does the session work?

A typical session with me will run around 60mins. 

During the sessions, I will :

 - ask questions and take notes

 - utilize close-eyed visualization type techniques that are guided step by step

 

How many sessions does my journey usually need before seeing any positive effects?

 

Most of our clients typically need about 5 to 10 regular sessions. 

 

Is coaching in person or online?

Coaching is done online via the Zoom platform. 

 

How do I schedule an appointment with Eryka?

You can book an appointment via our booking system right here. Pick a time and date at your convenience and an email confirmation will be sent to you after payment is made. To start on our appointment, click on the Zoom URL link included in the email to be directed to our virtual meeting spot. No program installation is required.

 

*Note: Please go in 5-10mins earlier (especially if it is your 1st session) to make sure that your video and audio is working properly

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Scheduled appointments are not eligible for refunds. 

You can however reschedule your appointment with a minimum of 48 hours notice via our Contact Page.

*Note: rescheduling not meeting the 48hours will regretfully be forfeited.
